1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VocationalCompass, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.
2. About the Service and Operating Entity
VocationalCompass is a proprietary career development platform operated and commercialized by X LABS LIMITED (the “Company”), a company incorporated under the laws of Hong Kong SAR, under an exclusive licensing arrangement. The Platform provides automated career assessments, scientific psychometric testing guidance, and career development software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Pricing and Beta Testing
- Free Beta Period: The Platform may currently offer certain services free of charge during its Beta testing phase (“Free Beta”). The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Free Beta phase at any time without prior notice.
- Paid Services: Future premium features, professional tools, or institutional subscription plans will be subject to fees as specified on our Pricing page. All fees are quoted in USD or HKD unless stated otherwise.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
- No Refunds: Due to the digital, intangible, and irrevocable nature of our software-as-a-service (SaaS) products and automated career assessment reports, all sales are final. We do not issue refunds once a psychometric assessment has been completed or a report has been generated.
- Beta Phase: For users participating in our Free Beta phase, no credit card charges will be applied, and thus no refunds are applicable.
- Cancellation: Users subscribing to future recurring subscription plans may cancel their subscriptions at any time through their account settings.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, logos, trademarks, algorithms, software code, and psychometric models displayed on or utilized by VocationalCompass are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights, titles, and interests in the Platform’s proprietary methodologies and core intellectual property remain with their respective legal owners, and are licensed exclusively to X LABS LIMITED for commercial operations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, X LABS LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR. You agree that the courts of Hong Kong SAR shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
